Why is an Operating System treated as like a government?

A computer system is a useless system without the Operating System (OS). Operating System provides the basic rules, conventions, protections and necessary services for the functions of the applications programs of a computer.

Government also plays a similar role for the functinoing of a country or society. Government provides the rules, conventions, protections and the basic services which are urgent for the citizens.

Sometimes, computer’s Operating System attcked by virus programs. Then we have to use anti-virus programs. Similarly, the government can be attacked by corrupt people, unfair lawmakers etc. Then the citizen try to protest these. Jounnalists play a major role in these cases.

 

In these way an Operating System treated as like a government.
