Microprocessor is an integrated circuit/logic chip that contains all or most of the central processing unit functions of a computer. It is an integrated circuit chip containing millions of transistors, resistors, diodes etc. It is a very important part of a computer. It can perform arithmetic and logical operations. The first microprocessor name was Intel 4004.
