The Hopefield Neural Network is the simplest Artificial Neural Network (ANN) that is fully connected single layer auto associative network that has one single layer with each neuron connected to every other neuron and use supervised learning, a total of four squared or 16 connections and the actual number of connection is 12.

The Hopefield Neural Network Applications:

1. Recalling or reconstructing corrupted patterns
2. Handwriting recognition software
3. Used to solve optimization problem such as traveler salesman, task scheduling etc.
4. Large scale computational intelligence system.
